Privacy Policy
CLIP (“the App”) is an app for keeping your travel documents together on your device. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
1. Information we collect
The App does not collect any personal information. There is no account, and the App never obtains your name, email address, location, or device identifiers.
2. Data stored by the App
Images, PDFs, text notes, trip names, dates, and other information you add are stored only on your device. This data is never sent to the developer or to any third-party server.
If you use device backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer), the App’s data is included in those backups. Backups are handled by Apple, and the developer cannot access their contents.
3. Photos and camera
The App receives only the photos you select in the photo picker. It does not ask for access to your entire photo library.
The camera is used only when you choose “Take a Photo”. Photos you take are stored only on your device.
4. Adding items from the Share menu
Images, PDFs, URLs, and text you add from another app’s Share menu are copied into the App’s private storage on your device. They are never sent anywhere else.
5. Advertising and analytics
The App contains no advertising or analytics tools (SDKs).
6. Sharing with third parties
Because the App does not collect your information, it does not share it with third parties. If you use the App’s Share feature to send a document to another app, that app’s policies apply from then on.
7. Deleting your data
You can delete documents and trips at any time in the App. Deleting the App from your device deletes all of its data.
